My MS Word Documents will not attach in Yahoo mail, they show up as a red warning, what is wrong?

I have been attempting to send MS word documents originally created in MS WORD 97-2007 and modified in 2010 but I receive a delay followed by a the file in red saying that it cannot attach. This just started today? What is wrong? My MS Word Documents will not attach in Yahoo mail, they show up as a red warning, what is wrong?
If you're trying to attach a file to an email and you get the error message "there was a problem uploading your documents" or "your system made a request that the browser could not understand", this usually just means that the file you're trying to attach is open. If this is the case, save and close this file in order to attach it properly.

If your browser is stalled or the file doesn't seem to be attaching after a number of minutes, here are some things to check or try:

鈥arger files take longer to upload. Also, you can only add attachments up to your 25MB message limit.

鈥re other programs running.

鈥low connection speeds or browser issues: In this case, we recommend that you try using a different browser (if you are using Internet Explorer, try switching to Firefox, etc.).

The same thing is happening to me; however, when I exited out of Windows Explorer and opened up a Google Chrome browser, the Yahoo! Mail attachment process worked fine.

It seems to be a problem with the new Mail Beta NOT working in Explorer, but working fine in Chrome. I hope somebody else out there can explain how to make it work properly in Explorer. My MS Word Documents will not attach in Yahoo mail, they show up as a red warning, what is wrong?
I think that Internet Explorer 8 or 9 isn't compatable with Yahoo! mail beta right now in terms of ceartain attachments. In other words. I don't think that on IE8 or 9, ceartain attachments cannot be attached due to incompatability. Hope this helped!
