Is it possible to use a MS Word Document as a Form to insert data to an Excel spreadsheet?

I am looking to create a form inside MS Word 2010, what I want it to do is when I type info into it, and press a button, it will save data into an MS Excel 2010 document. Is this even possible?Is it possible to use a MS Word Document as a Form to insert data to an Excel spreadsheet?

You can do it completely within Excel though.
