You can be a PT in any facility. PT/ATC generally work in out patient orthopedic clinics and work with patients with sports injuires. Some work with sports teams at a variety of levels. Salary is decent.
Visit www.apta.orgWhat kind of jobs can I get with a dual degree with a doctorate of physical therapy and MS in athletic trainin?
I agree with the poster above. The dual degree may give you some salary advantage as a prospective employee to outpatient clinics. With the athletic trainer degree you will be able to help some clients without a doctor's signature. Laws vary by state. This opens up marketing opportunities that don't otherwise exist.
