What is gangsta about over-sized jackets with M&Ms or Sesame Street characters on it?

I see these huge thugs walking around wearing these over-sized black jackets, but the jackets have little sesame street characters on it or they say M%26amp;Ms and things that I wouldn't associate with gangstas at all. i hate tanya b-londe because shes so ignorant i want to kill myself thinking about it. Gangsters are people usualll in a gang because of the need to gain respect around poeple they live by. They actually and almost always have alot of money from hustling...and most of all the jackets are not cheap

well "gangstas" are typically extremely poor which is why they're in a gang (hustling, getting money) and so they probably couldn't afford anything else. they buy whats cheap which explains the careless baggy clothing.What is gangsta about over-sized jackets with M%26amp;Ms or Sesame Street characters on it?
