i just download ms office home and student 2007. i tried using ms word just to test to see if it works, i keep getting an error message saying, " your software cannot be activated because the product key you entered is not valid. Please unistall the software and then reinstall it using a valid product key."

Microsoft Office or Microsoft Windows? If the key you used was on the bottom of your laptop or the back of your desktop or tower, that's only for the Windows operating system. It won't work for Microsoft Office.

What are the chances that my mum has MS?
Hi, my mother is 45 years old and has been suffering from Optic Neuritis for 3 months. She also feels light headed and dizzy. Her MRI scans have come back positive. My mum's brother and mother both had MS. Her mum with a very mild form and her brother with a very aggressive form. What are the chances that she has multiple sclerosis? If she doesn't, what else could it be?What are the chances that my mum has MS?
With optic neuritis and positive MRI scans, the chances of it being MS are very high, especially when her mother and brother also have it. I cannot think of what it could be, besides MS.
As you know MS affects everyone differently, and an MS diagnosis doesn't need to be the end of the world. Many people, like your grandmother, have mild forms of MS, and many lead normal or near-normal lives, so hopefully your mother will fall into this category as well.

After creating a file in ms-word, I saved the document in flash disk using the methed 'save as' file option. And when I tried to oped this file in another computer the file changes into scrap and i can not read it. 3) Phlebob has a good point -- you may have originally saved the document in a font document that is not installed on the second computer. It might work to select all, and change to a font that is on the second computer, but I have not really had good luck with this.

I tried to open open an excel ducument by clicking on it. It did not opened. I opened ms excel, then tried to open it through open option it opens. I re-installed ms office. Previously, I had an issue with Photoshop where even though it said it would open in Photoshop, it did not open at all when double clicked, only when opened THROUGH Photoshop. In this instance, I found Photoshop in my Program Files, duplicated the Photoshop.exe (copy and paste so it creates "Photoshop - Copy.exe", then changed the extension to open with that, and it worked fine. Simply little bugs. Usually they cannot be fixed, just worked around! ;) Good luck!

Otherwise, try duplicating the Excel executable file to create "Microsoft Excel - Copy.exe" and then set that as the program to open ".XLS", ".XLSS" and other Excel files.. My girlfriend has brain lesions and has been diagnosed as having MS but hasn't seen much, if any, progression as far as MS goes. She does, however, have infrequent episodes where she is completely disoriented and things and places that she's used to normally, she will fail to recognize. She also has trouble understanding and processing what is being said to her during these episodes and can only usually respond with one word anwers or questions. I tried installing MS Office 2003 on my laptop which has Windows Vista, but I got an error message saying something along the lines of that it's not compatible. Right click on the setup.exe (it will be something like that) and go into properties and look for an option to execute with WIndows XP complatibility, IF that doesn't work and you don't want more of a headache I will point you in the direction of OpenOffice.org, it's essentially the same thing as M$ Office except it is free and it will work on Vista :)

Why the ping to my internet base station in a specific time goes over 800 ms?
i have an internet hotspot over 2.4 wireless GHZ.
each day from 5pm till 12am the ping to the base station goes in 800+ ms.
we use 13 channels in our country; i tried them all and the problem still persist.

Encarta 98 Encyclopedia You might get it from MS or Encarta but I wouldn't bet on it. If you still have the old disc you may be able to install it.

This is useful in large companies with distributed Exchange Server environments who cannot afford the downtime and expense that comes with a complete migration.
One of the new features in Exchange Server 2003 is enhanced disaster recovery which allows administrators to bring the server online quicker. This is done by allowing the server to send and receive mail while the message stores are being recovered from backup.
Exchange Server 2007 was released in late 2006 to business customers as part of Microsoft's roll-out wave of new products. It includes new clustering options, 64-bit support for greater scalability, voice mail integration, better search and support for Web services, better filtering options, and a new Outlook Web Access interface. What is a good alternative to ms paint that has the exact same features?
ms paint stopped working on my pc and i cant fix it. it says that "there is not enough memory or resources to complete this operation, please close some programs and try again". my computer is brand new and it has vista, so THIS IS REALLY FRUSTRATING! This will check for corrupted system files (Paint is considered a system file) and will try to replace them. It may need to copy the files from your Vista DVD, so be sure to have it handy.que bfbc2
